Welcome to the

South Portslade Community Centre

The South Portslade Community Centre is managed and administered by the Community Association of Portslade (South) - known as CAPS - which is a registered not-for-profit charity (No. 1089418). It has been in existence since 1996, with the original remit to develop a community centre.

The objectives of the Association are now to promote the benefit of the local inhabitants to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Portslade WRVS Heritage Plus Project

Are you a forces veteran?

Are you over 55? Would you like to meet more people?

We meet once a week for a trip down memory lane. Have you thought about attending our free sessions?

Remembering National Service, uniforms, Active Service, the Reserves, the Territorial Army, the Home Guard, the interesting changes that have taken place in the forces over the years and many other things. Bring your memories and old photographs to unlock the past and generate ideas for how we can rediscover and record our memories and reminiscences.

WE WELCOME BOTH MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SERVED.

Every Thursday from 30th April from 2 to 4 pm. Refreshments provided and travel can be arranged. Call for details.
